Meditation is the another name for 'relax awareness'

In the current time, the mankind has become too much ambitious. We are trained from the childhood for competiting with others. Everyone wants to come first and prove oneself to be the best. This mental conditioning of coming first is OK in the outer world. But in the inner world we do not need to prove ourself, instead we should accept ourself the way God has made us.

If someone wants to succeed in the materialistic world then struggle is the way. But if someone wants to succeed in the inner world then 'let go' is the way. In the inner world, Relaxation is of more help then struggle. One has to come in terms with oneself. Instead of becoming something big or macho or stud.... One has to start accepting oneself as God has made us. In a way start loving oneself.

Most of us hardly spend time with themselves. We hardly watch our thoughts. We are always in a hurry to chase things and dreams. The sad things is that many times we are doing things because others are also doing the same thing. This confusion and uncertainty in life is because we are hardly in touch with our inner state. We do not know our authentic being.

Spending time with oneself and watching the inner drama of mind is meditation. First of all one should be at ease with the things. One should be relax. Meditation is the another name for 'relax awareness'. In meditation state one is watching everything going inside the mind in a relaxed state.

Relaxation is important and necessary, As there is always a danger that mind can make meditation a goal to be achieved. So it is recommended that one should make meditation a joyful experience. Its better to start enjoying the meditation session. Its better that we practice meditation because we enjoy it and not because we are expecting something out of our meditation session. Otherwise 'going deep in meditation' can become another goal for us.
